Perennials, Grasses, and Groundcovers

Our perennial section stocks the most hardy landscape perennials. You won’t find many annuals or tropicals (houseplants) here! What you will find are landscape investment plants (plants that will grow outdoors and increase in value from season to season).

After 25 years of professional observations, we have chosen a selection that is worthy of the best gardens and borders. From Acanthus to Zephyranthes (rain lily), our perennials will fit any landscape situation.

Our ornamental grasses are grown at our Granville county farm.  We offer hardy grasses from 2 inches tall to 7 feet (or more). Grasses, when mixed with perennials, can add interesting texture and blooms that will extend your garden’s interest late into the fall and winter.

New to Kiefer Nursery is our selection of vegetable starter plants. From heirloom tomatoes to peppers and squash, our Granville farm supplies us with a great selection of locally grown plants for your garden.
